Osborne Park Fire
While on the way to a site today we noticed all the black smoke coming from a factory in Osborne Park so took a few photos on the way past. Found out later it was a plastics factory spilling out heaps of toxic smoke. Even managed to get the ch. 7 heli in a few images - taken with the 70-200 – 2.8IS.

it’s great how you just happened to be going past at 3000 ft!!! awesome – you never know when you might need a helicopter! sad to see this happen, but great photos.

Hi Darren,
These were actually taken at 2000ft. – we couldn’t get permisssion to fly any lower near the fire.
